Rhode Island Housing recently welcomed Scottye Lindsey to
the agency’s Board of Commissioners. Nominated by Governor Gina Raimondo, Lindsey’s
appointment as RI Department of Business Regulation (DBR) Commissioner was
approved unanimously by the Rhode Island State Senate. In his role as DBR Commissioner,
Lindsey sits on RIHousing’s Board in ex-officio capacity.
As Rhode Island’s Director of Business Regulation, Lindsey oversees
the implementation of state laws mandating the regulation and licensing of
designated businesses, professions and occupations.
“I am pleased to welcome Scottye to Rhode Island Housing’s
Board of Commissioners,” said Barbara Fields, Executive Director of Rhode
Island Housing. “His experience in finance will be an invaluable asset to our
team as we continue our push to create more housing opportunities for working
Rhode Islanders.”
Previously, Lindsey worked at Deutsche Bank for 18 years,
where his experience included leveraged and investment grade corporate loan
portfolio monitoring as well as lending assessment and approval.
Lindsey holds a degree in International Relations and
Economics from Brown University and an MBA from Cornell University’s S.C.
Johnson Graduate School of Management.
