Rhode Island Housing is excited to announce that Leslie McKnight
has been promoted to Assistant Deputy Director.
Leslie
has been part of the RI Housing team since 1995 when she started as a
Collection Manager in the Loan Servicing Division. Since then, she has held a
number of positions with increasing responsibilities during her 22-year career
with RI Housing, leading to her previous role as Director of Loan Servicing.
“Leslie’s contributions have been invaluable to our agency. I look
forward to working alongside Leslie and the rest of the Rhode Island Housing
team to make our state a better place to live, work, and raise a family,” said
Barbara Fields, Executive Director at Rhode Island Housing.
During 2016, McKnight played a key role in the establishment of RI
Housing’s new mortgage sub-servicing division. Her deep knowledge of loan
servicing allowed RI Housing to successfully convert the MaineHousing portfolio
of over 7,000 loans to the new mortgage servicing system.
As Assistant Deputy Director of Loan Servicing, McKnight will
manage the growth of Mortgage Servicing Solutions by identifying new prospects,
directing sales efforts, and ensuring seamless transitions for new customers.
